-International Customer Support Manager
You will provide onsite installation, repair, warranty and preventative maintenance work on Berchtold products, completing and submitting all necessary documentation within the established timeframe. You will actively promote and sell Preventative Maintenance Contracts on applicable products, represent the company in a professional manner during all contacts with customer personnel, and hire temporary personnel to assist in equipment installation as required. This position requires an Associates degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent experience, proficiency in electrical and electronic testing and repair, ability to use architectural and products drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics. Knowledge of the hospital environment is a plus. Frequent travel to custome r sites is necessary. Interested applicants should have a van or truck. In this position you will sell leading-edge capital equipment to hospitals and surgery centers within your territory. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will call on hospitals and surgery centers, cultivating clinical preference for BERCHTOLD products and prospecting for new business opportunities. Responsibilities also include the scheduling of equipment trials in the hospital setting and working with Field Service to ensure timely and proper equipment installation. This position will require 2+ years of capital goods sales experience (with a proven record of superior achievement), a Bachelor’s degree, computer literacy, and residency in the Sales Territory. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT MANAGER This position administers and maintains customer sales orders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
This key role requires a high degree of interpersonal and organizational skills as well the ability to adapt to frequent changes. Customers are located both domestically and internationally. Candidates interested in applying for this position should have a minimum of 3 years experience in providing support to a field sales staff and external customers. Proficiency with Excel, Access and excellent communication skills are required. Experience with SAP or other manufacturing ERP system is highly desirable. Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience is preferred. German language skills are required.
