The Founder
The BERCHTOLD Company was founded by Theodor Berchtold
in 1922. His objective and purpose was to manufacture high-performance
products in accordance with latest technological standards in the
field of surgical devices and medical electronics.

The Innovator
In 1956 his son-in-law, Eduard Fritz, took charge of the company's
management. His farsightedness and receptivity to new technologies
gave crucial impetus to the development of the company. Through uncompromising
modernization, he set the course for substantial corporate expansion. |

The Visionary
In 1984 his son, Theo Fritz joined the BERCHTOLD management team.
His vision of the operating room of the future combined with his
commitment to major capital and global expansion have positioned
BERCHTOLD as the industry leader. |
