OPERON® Surgical Tables Frequently Asked Questions
A: The auxiliary hand pendant is located in the base at the head end of the table next to the manual foot pump. The pendant is intended for emergency use if the primary hand pendant becomes inoperable. It is wired to the solenoid valves and works in conjunction with the manual foot pump. The manual foot pump supplies hydraulic power and it retracts into the base when not in use. Second answer: The B 810 table uses a "true" manual back-up system utilizing a secondary hand pendant stored in a drawer in the base of the table. The hand pendant has the same features as the primary pendant, except for flex, reflex, and return to level. A manual foot pump is used in conjunction with the secondary pendant to operate the table. There is no need to reach under the surgical drapes to operate the manual system. Q: Can you lock the table to the floor if you are operating in the manual mode? A: Yes Q:How long will the battery charge last? A: The B 810 was designed to operate for a minimum of one week without the need to recharge the system. This is accomplished through the design of the charging system and a "power save" mode that turns the table off after 90 seconds of non-use. However, it only requires that the operator touch the function button for it to "re-energize" and operate. Q: What do we do if the battery indicator goes to red during the surgical procedure? A: Plug the table in and it will run off the AC power. Q: How long does it take to charge the batteries? A: To restore from an inoperable battery state (red) it takes 12 hours to reach a full charge (green). Q: Will my current accessories work with your table? A: Most accessories that attach via a side rail clamp will fit the B 810. Since the table is about 1" wider than most surgical tables, some accessories that span the width of the table may not fit properly. Q: What is the warranty for Surgical Tables? A: The warranted for Surgical Tables is 24 months, parts and labor. Q:How long will the batteries last without being recharged? A: Depending on the frequency of the table usage, it is recommended that the OPERON B 810 table be plugged in to a 120AC each week to maintain a fully charged system. Q: What should I do if the Service light on the hand control illuminates but my table continues to operate normally? A: There has been a lever three functionality problem that is not serious enough to suspend table operations. Contact your BERCHTOLD Service Representative. Q: What is the patient weight limitation for the OPERON B 810 Table? A: 600lbs either in normal or reverse orientation. If table accessories are being used this can cause the weight capacities to be changed. Contact your BERCHTOLD Sales Consultant for further information. Q: Can I transport patients using the OPERON B 810 Table? A: No. This table is designed for supporting patients during surgery only. |
